Solution Focused Therapy (SFBT)

This focuses on the client’s health rather than on the problem, is time limited and is a goal-directed approach to solving the problems that brought them to therapy.

The focus is on what the client wants to happen and looking at solutions to their problems, then discovering resources and strengths they have rather than focusing on the problem.

Solution Focused Therapy works better when the client is aware they are trying to reach a particular goal or overcome a particular problem.
